Was ist MDAC eigentlich und was tut es?

ich mal wieder. Mein Zeta zeigt mir unter Extras "MDAC reparieren" an. ? wenn ich dort klicke versucht zeta auf "http://update3.buhl-data.com/hotline/db/Tools/MDAC-Repair.exe" zu gehen aber der link ist tot.
wenn ich MDAC runterlade und initiere, meldet mein Windows (7) ich hätte nicht das Recht dazu obwohl ich hier der Chef am Rechner bin.

es wäre vorteilhaft, wenn man wüsste, welches Layout du verwendest.
Oh Gott, ich hoffe, ich mach mich jetzt nicht unbeliebt jedoch möchte ich gern zeigen, wie ich mir einen Template-editor wünschen würde.
Da ich eher Gestalter bin denn Code-Pfrimel wünschte ich mir etwas, was meine Sehgewohnheit unterstützt. Also: ich ändere etwas und seh auch gleich, was. Alles rein bildlich. So wie der interne Layout-Designer des Producers. Nur eben für "Selbertemplatesbauen"
Der Templates-Designer eines Mitbewerbers(Weblica) von Zeta gefällt mir da sehr gut.
Ich hoffe, meine Anmerkung ist OK so und erzeugt keinen Unwillen bei den Leuten von Zeta.

leider klappt das nicht so einfach. Ich habe ja Text in den Artikel eingegeben und bekam trotzdem diese Meldung. ( Siehe Bild in meinem Beitrag)
Ausserdem erscheint, wenn das mit dem CMS klappt, der Artikel doppelt. Haben Sie vielleicht eine Idee, was da nicht richtig läuft?
P.S. Bilder online reinstellen klappt schon gar nicht, könnte jedoch am Server liegen. PHP LG Libary? Muss ich noch klären.

Hab leider ein weiteres Problem: beim cms-Artikel verwenden geschieht folgendes.
Ich lade die Site hoch und möchte dann online einen Artikel neu erstellen.
Login klappt prima - Artikel bearbeiten Überschrift, Artikeltext - OK drücken - kommt die Meldung: Bitte geben Sie einen Artikeltext ein.
danach verschwindet die Meldung und nix geschieht. ? Kann dann nur noch abbrechen.
